Who should use FIXE?
FIXE is meant for all types of restaurants. Whether you are just opening your first location or your 50th, FIXE can take care of all your bookkeeping needs. We can even work with your current in-house finance or accounting/finance team to streamline their processes and empower them with timely, concise data. Instead of overpaying for services that require tons of manual entry, we can save you money, empower your business decisions, and free up your time to focus on your guests.
Are there setup fees?
NO. Getting started with FIXE is free and easy. Additionally, if you want us to clean up your books to date, we can evaluate your needs and typically charge $250/mo./location.
Do you offer ongoing support?
YES. Once the on-boarding process is complete, you will have a dedicated account manager who will be your point of contact in case you have any questions or concerns. Your account manager will strive to answer any issues before the end of day Mon – Fri, and within 24 hours during the weekend.
How does the onboarding process work?
We pride ourselves on making the onboarding process as seamless as possible. Don’t wait! You can get started with FIXE at any point in the year. Onboarding time is largely dependent on your readiness, and we strive for a smooth completion within 3 days. When you sign up with FIXE, you will receive a checklist of the items that are required for FIXE to get you on-boarded. These items include logins and passwords to your POS, Payroll, Banking and Credit Cards. We will also need a copy of your FEIN Letter from the IRS. Once the account is set up, we create a new Quickbooks Online file for you, and you are off and running.
Is my data secure?
YES. We store customer data securely in the cloud utilizing Amazon Web Services or AWS. AWS is trusted by many of the largest companies and federal agencies in the world.
To ensure your data is secure, we use advanced data encryption and firewalls to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of customer data.
Are you Accrual Based or Cash Based?
We typically run accrual based for our clients, but we can accommodate cash based books as needed.
Can you accommodate my financial calendar?
YES. We can accommodate monthly financial calendars or custom financial calendars such as 4,4,5 or 13 4-week periods.
Do I need a Tax Accountant?
YES. Although FIXE will maintain your books throughout the year, you will still need a Tax Accountant to prepare your year-end taxes. We can recommend our preferred Tax Accountants, or you are more than welcome to use your current one as well. We will make sure that your books are ready and reconciled no later than February 15th, so that your Tax Accountant has ample time to prepare your year-end taxes.
Do you use Quickbooks?
YES. We use Quickbooks Online (QBO) for all of our accounts. We have developed integrations with QBO in order to give you accurate financials in a timely manner. If your current bookkeeper does not use QBO, we can convert your financials seamlessly as part of the on-boarding process.
Do you handle 1099s?
YES. We can prepare 1099s for any of your vendors at no additional cost.
